Update 09.29.04
OK ... Issue #3 has finally arrived! Thank you all for your patience. We're still waiting on the CD's to get here, but they are scheduled to be in next week when I return from the Snowboard show at NYC's Milk Gallery on October 6th.

Once I return, we'll spend the next three or four weeks packing and mailing out all the subscriptions. Please be patient. Once again, if you did not upgrade your shipping to 1st Class, then it can take quite some time for the new issue to arrive ... if you did upgrade your shipping then it will be quicker, but it still takes us several weeks to pack and mail to all of our subscribers.

Be sure to check out our Merch page soon, we have several exclusive Flash sets in the works from some of today's finest tat-makers, including:

Daniel Albrigo, Julio Avila, Adam Barton, Brian Bruno, Jay Chastain, Mario Desa, Jason Freeman, Grez, Sean Harrington, Adam Hathorn, Hiro, Phil Holt, Horitaka, Marcus Kuhn, Jime Litwalk, Eric Merrill, Hunter Spanks, Clifton Carter, Derrick Snodgrass, Bert Krak, Frank Lee, Mike Kirk ... and many many more to come!

Thanks for your continued support.

End of transmission.

Update 08.18.04
Well, the first set of proofs are in and there are some corrections that need to be made. We should have the next set in within a week or so and then, hopefully, it's off to press. I know we're behind in our release dates, and we do apologize for that, but we just won't settle for anything less than the best magazine on the market! Hopefully we can begin picking up the pace soon. We are working on getting our designer/Art Director full-time, and to help us do this we are proud to announce that the first Official TAM Flash Set will be coming out soon.

We asked a bunch of our friends to each donate a page of flash to help raise money for Bert, the TAM Art Director, and we've had an incredible response so far! We don't want to give away too much ... not yet anyway ... but keep your eyes peeled, the first set will be hitting the website in about a month and it will feature some of today's most prominent tattooers! Thanks to everyone who committed to this project for us! You are all awesome!

Thanks,
C

Update 07.25.04
I know, I know ... we're late. Well, no one should be all that suprised anyway. It's taking a lot of donating time to get the quality of mag we demand. Sorry for the delays, but I assure it's worth the wait. We're closing in on print time for issue #3 ... maybe another couple of days work, then we get to deal with our printer (and that segment usually slows us down a bit- getting proofs, making color corrections, etc...) - hopefully we nailed it this time though, and we'll fly right to press time!

We'll let you know more soon, and we gonna throw up a sample of the cover for you all to drool over- painted by our star feature of issue #3: Mr. Marcus Pacheco. That oughta' hold you over for a little while anyway...

Thanks,
-C

Update 06.09.04
The new forum sections are up as of today!

We now have a Critique section and a Classifieds section on our forum. Please make use of them so we can decide whether to keep them or drop them in the next few months.

Thanks for all the support. Issue #3 should be coming soon...we're pretty close and, amazingly, near schedule this time. We'll see how it ends up.

Keep the faith,
-C

Update 05.29.04
We're almost ready to launch our new forum topics. They should be up in a week or so.

Also, I just got a commitment from Mr. Grime for an article contribution written by him. More on this to come soon.

Any subscribers who have not received their subscription, please email me and I will take care of it. If we don't hear from you, we assume that all is well. I would suggest to anyone wanting to get their copies quicker, to upgrade your shipping status to 1st class or Airmail. It's bit more expensive than the bulk rate, but much much faster.

Update 04.30.04
A little note for everyone. I'm heading to Japan for a few weeks to do some tattin' and complete some upcoming interviews for the magazine. I should be back around May 15th and until then I will be out of reach. If you have any problems or questions, shoot me an email and I'll do my best to catch up when I return.

I also wanted to announce the BLITZ giveaway winners for issue #2. They'll be mailed out sometime around May 17th, once I return from Japan.

1) BLITZ needle jig winner is: Bert Du Chene of Des Moines, IA
2) BLITZ 15 and 45 mag tubes with some grip sleeves: Steven Lemak of Allentown, PA
3) BLITZ 25 and 35 mag tubes with some grip sleeves: Ty Oloman of Moscow, ID

I saw the Marcus Pacheco layouts today for issue #3 ... man, are they sweet!

Keep the faith,
-C

Update 04.12.04
As of today, ALL subscriptions are mailed (save for the newest subscribers who payed after March 29th - which I should get to this week).

-Crash

Update 03.16.04
We are now mailing copies of #2 out and we will be mailing for a few weeks, so PLEASE be patient. If you paid for 1st class shipping, your issues should arrive very soon. If you have not upgraded your shipping then the same time frames apply as issue #1.

The responses we're getting back on the new issue are fabulous. Thank you all for taking the time to write us and let us know your thoughts on our new content and our new CD's. We've worked really hard to push the boundaries on this issue and I hope all our hard work shows. We plan to include a letters page in #3, so please take a few minutes and let us hear your opinions.

Thanks to everyone who made this worth our efforts.

Spread the word.

Update 02.25.04
Well, they're here! YAY! Issue #2 has arrived and shipping will commence immediately. Thanks again for your patience; I know you've all been anxiously awaiting the new release - I promise it will not dissapoint! The CD's are running a little behind but they will arrive next week. So we'll start with mailing out to subscribers who did not order the CD's, which will take most of this week anyway.

Thanks to everyone who is supporting our cause, and especially to those who are putting it all together. You guys are the real stars of this project!

Update 01.30.04
Alright. We got the paper proofs back last week and made a few minor corrections to the text layouts ... all that's left is to approve the glossy color proofs, which should be in on Monday ... then it's time to print. Thanks for your patience, everyone. I'm very grateful to you all for your help and support. Wait till you see the new stuff we have on the CD's; it's totally redesigned and our video additions include the Jeff Zuck video spot we couldn't fit on the last CD, plus vid of Grime, Jason Kundell, and a few convention spots from late last year...and we figured out a way to include ALL the audio stuff you were missing out on!

We've already started work on issue #3, which is going to be a dinger!! Marcus Pacheco comes out of hiding and we pay a little visit to Read Street Tattoo in Baltimore. Issue #3 will also have a little something on Canada's own - Steve Moore, and a little feature on a double artist marathon backpiece by Joe Capobianco and Eric Merrill. Stick around.

-C

Update 01.15.04
Sorry we're so late with the next issue, folks. It's still an enormous task to put this thing out and we haven't worked out all the bugs yet. I can say this though, it's going to be a superb issue. The designers have stepped it up a notch on every level and I'm very grateful to them all. Looks like the end of the month before the issue is printed ... so hang on.
