San Diego tattoo artist Bill Canales is starting to make a serious name for himself as an ingenious craftsman of black and grey fantasy tattoo flash. I spent some time speaking with Bill about his journey to find acceptance from his peers as he packs his kit and relocates. As well, I ask his thoughts about what goes into designing some truly beautiful tattoo flash that not only fellow tattoo artists can be inspired from but more importantly tattoo customers as well.
