Company Spotlight: Workhorse Irons/Stable Color

We're going to start dropping in some occasional spotlight features on tattooers whose work, businesses, or hobbies impact both the tattoo world and the rest of the world in purely positive ways. People whose driving goals are NOT merely to gain fame or fortune or admi-ration for themselves, but who strive to make a difference. Now that difference may very well be a company who offers quality products and services...but that wasn't the goal. The goal was to elevate tat-tooing, or the world, or even one other person.
It's an honor for me to know people like BJ, or "Soba," as most of you know him. I met him online years ago at the Read Street Tattoo Forum and somehow we managed to build a relationiship over inter-net lines, finally meeting some years ago and quickly striking up a strong friendship.
What I admire about BJ primarily is his determination and that he is a man of his word. Integrity is important! Over the years he’s repeat-edly shown that he is this and much more. We discovered that we share a common faith and he actually attends one of my two favorite churches in the world (the lucky bastard!)
What's impressed me lately is how he challenges me to excel in ev-erything I do, always being available to help me navigate difficult situations, and revealing his heart in all these things as well as his new Blood Red Project. I'm proud to know BJ and I'm proud to make him and his work a little more well known. He didn’t ask for this, by the way, I coerced him into doing it.
