We were fortunate enough to view Shawn Barber's latest show at the Shooting Gallery in SF and were most impressed. Not only has he been laying down beautiful oils capturing many tattooed artists but he's also been inspiring said artists along the way; that inspiration lends credence to his character and abilities—abilities that create the great art shows like his most recent at the Shooting Gallery.
Is it any wonder why this painter, teacher and all around good guy has become known all over the tattoo world in so short a time? For us it isn't. His amazing talent coupled with his prodigious work ethic makes him shine in a world of homogenous black whip shading.
